THE COMPANY
Headquartered in Rome, Bvlgari is a diversified luxury brand specialising in jewellery, watches, accessories, fragrances, hotels and resorts known for its exceptional quality worldwide. Their Dublin office provides logistical and distribution support to all the companies in the Bvlgari Group.
THE BRIEF
We were engaged initially in 2008, to work under the direction of their Italian architects to provide the furniture, demountable partitioning and flooring for their office space in Macken House. The priority was to match the finishes in their offices in Italy. Our most recent work for Bvlgari (2013) was to complete the refurbishment of their offices.
WORKS
CBI provided full design and project management of all fitout works to include the upgrade of all M+E infrastructure, data ca- bling, raised access floors, ceilings, decor, floor finishes, window blinds and joinery items. We designed and managed the strip out and refit of all floor finishes throughout their offices, and incorporated the company branding at front of house. In the open plan area Methis Clover systems furniture was provided with modular under-desk pedestals and complete cable management systems. Desks were fitted with frosted Metacrylic screens for privacy. Fire rated partitioning was provided in relevant areas. Methis Evo partitions both glazed and solid were used throughout the office space, incorporating store walls throughout. Wood panelling in executive areas created a rich warm environment. In Phase 2 works we coordinated the design and relocation of the canteen and the boardroom to the 2nd floor. Kitchen units were produced in a high gloss anthracite with a metallic trim to provide a modern clean fresh breakout area for staff.
